I am truly saddened by the death of my beloved hero uncle EBRAHIM SULAIMAN SAIT who dedicated his entire life for the upliftment of Indian Muslims esp. from their social / legal perspective. He also had the longest streak of holding the MP's office in Indian history (after K Menon) i.e. 36 yrs. He was a true statesman , leader , prolific speaker , social worker and a family man.

He was awarded by AFMI recently for his sacrifice for the ulema.

He will be direly remembered.

INNA LILLA HI WA INNA ILAI HE RAJEE OON.

May Allah give EbrahimSulaiman Sait Jennat ul Firdous. He tirelessly worked for the entire Asian subcontinent. After the partition of Asian subcontinent into Pakistan and India , the bad politicians in India were out to destroy anybody and everybody who was associated with Muslim League .  He stood like a lion and proposed that we are not going to drop the name of our organization from MUSLIM LEAGE to any other name , but should continue it as INDIAN UNION MUSLIM LEAGUE. He fought racism , terrorism , religious bigotry , harassment , discrimination and Muslim bashing in the corridors of power , in the hall of the parliament , in New Delhi .

He fulfilled his responsibility of serving the people - involved himself in  Huqooq Ul Ibad (Our responsibility to humanity) during his entire life. His example should be emulated by all Indian Muslim in India and throughout the world. Thousands and thousands of Muslim Indians should learn from him as to how to help humanity by involving in Huqooq ul Ibad. We mourn the loss of Ebrahim Sulaiman Sait , one our ablest leaders. It is difficult indeed to find words to express our regret at the death of EbrahimSulaiman Sait - splendid man and a leader. Sulaiman Sait was a devoted and a higly esteemed leader of India .

Sorrow fills my heart at this sad moment of passing away of Ebrahim Sulaiman Sait , one of our leaders.  My heart is heavy. The last time I met him was in the city of Chicago , USA ,   in 1993.

On this occasion I joing members of  of the Muslim Indians of North America and members of the Consultative Committee of Indian Muslims (CCIM)  in the US and Canada in paying tribute to Sulaiman Sait. We pray the Almighty God may grant him eternal resting place in Jennat ul Firdous.
